I have spent a really interesting time in Singapore. Being invited by a Singapore local, made it possible for me to have access to an short authentic impression of the Singapore way of living. Like in a lot of Asian cultures, being a guest of a Singapore citizen means being guided through a well- thought- out program of attractions, that might be of interest for a foreigner. The culture of Singapore impressed me a lot, I was especially fascinated by this combination of sterility and absolute organization on one hand, and on the other hand this Asian messy street life, which is to find especially in street food culture. Furthermore, efficiency and technological improvement, plays an important role in Singapore life. This is to be seen throughout all of Singapore, but on the other hand the Singapore government tries to involve a creative feel to the skyline of Singapore. It is and remains an interesting metropole, full of surprises and great contact with the Singapore citizens.
